New Sponsor and Update! [20-07-2008]
Gunn Racing welcomes a new sponsor - Lacey Automotive!
Thanks to Tom and Ebony at Lacey Automotive we have a prepared rally car and we are looking forward to the forests of the Huon next weekend the 26th July!
Also a very special thanks to Simon from Eurotech for the use of his workshop and Craig Sault for all his help preparing the car this weekend.
Ken Roddam, Ross Ferguson and Paul Darko have put together what will be a great event down the south of the state. With Ken's experience with Safari we should expect some great roads!
We head to the forest Saturday morning with Tom Lacey of Lacey Automotive and Mark Sutzac as service crew.

Bring on the Huon! [24-05-2008]
Well the little car is in pieces, seats out waiting on new 6 point harnesses, the new and still unused Monit trip computer and with the suspension spending a few weeks in Queensland for a little R'n'R we have plenty of time to work out what needs to be done. Although the list of fixes seems to be getting bigger we are still hopeful it will all fall in place in plenty of time for the Huon Rally in July. After nearly 12 months out of the seat both Brad and I are looking forward to heading down south to our favourite forest.

long time no post! [03-02-2008]
Well where I start...
Both previous events didn’t go so well.
Styx rally lasted 700 m in when taking the first major corner realizing the wheel alignment should have been first on the list..
Understeering off the road and damaging lower control arm. (Lesson learned)
Next event was the Huon Howler Run and control by the trusty DWR team.
After driving the distance from Hobart to Franklin the night before the event. When approaching Fiona’s Parent drive way we broke the drive shaft... after a night of bug bits and trips back to Hobart we called it quits late at night.
The car is now back in the workshop and work is about to start to prep for this year’s racing! To what events we don’t know.. At the moment we are waiting to free up funds to purchase a tow car to transport the rally car to events.
Our dreams to enter a Tarmac event such as Rally Tas or Targa have been put on hold.. We just don’t have the money. And finding time to find people who would be interested in sponsoring is also hard to find.
We will persist! I have taken out a few Khancross events (2wd outright) and Fiona has also been offered a ride in Targa!
I’ll keep you up dated on the progress of the car and our next event stay tuned!!!
